Owasys Advanced Wireless Devices: Launch of the Company.
Owasys Advanced Wireless Devices was set up last July with the economic participation of its shareholders, who were originally from the Ericsson BTC-Bilbao Technology Centre.
With the unique know-how and experience, resulting from having worked more than 15 years with the largest telecommunication manufacturers at a worldwide level, the group has decided to face a new project based on their International experience.
They have accumulated the vast knowledge of the team and directed it towards the creation of an innovative project, with a focus on covering the specific needs of the telecommunications market.
Owasys’s main objective is to capitalize on the know-how of the team, increase this knowledge, and at the same time develop and distribute it throughout the international technology environment.
Owasys designs, develops, manufactures, and sells advanced wireless devices at an international level, for system integrators and service providers who want to strengthen their offer through wireless technology.
The segments in which they are working on at the moment are mainly automotive (fleet management- AVL-Automatic Vehicle Location and on board Telematic units), Industrial (embedded terminals for Industrial environments), and as end consumers (wireless terminals for end consumers with specific needs).
