Owasys enters into a distribution agreement with ADELCO in Benelux and MiTreck in Oceania Area, for marketing mobile communications.
• This agreements implies that ADELCO and Mi Treck will distribute Owasys high technology terminals for the industrial and automotive sectors.
The agreement is culminate because Owasys and Adelco booked the first order in the Benelux for a track and tracing system.
• The WEC- Wireless Embedded Computers of Owasys are oriented so to mobile applications even those requiring GPS location services such as fleet management as to industrial environments through telematic systems providing remote control applications.
• Owasys added value resides in a deep knowledge of machine to machine -M2M- communication market providing new solutions for the GSM/GPRS market.
Bilbao, November.- Telecommunication firm, Owasys Advanced Wireless Devices -Owasys-, has entered into an agreement with the firm ADELCO, and Mi Treck, for marketing mobile communications in BENELUX and OCEANIA.
This agreement aims at securing the presence of Owasys products in the Belgium market, and Oceania markets relying on the expertise of firms mainly dedicated to mobile communication distribution.
Today, Owasys –located at Parque Tecnológico de Bizkaia- already counts with a distribution network on an international level: Spain, Portugal, U.K, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France and Germany, etc.
Under this framework, Owasys designs, manufactures and sells wireless communication equipment for markets not covered by other manufacturers. The company’s added value resides in a deep knowledge of machine to machine -M2M- communication market and also in its drive.
The company works for the automotive sector (fleet management, AVL- automatic vehicle location and on board telematic nodes) and the industrial sector (integrated equipment for interconnecting industrial environments) as well as the consumer sector (terminals for end users with specific needs).
DISTRIBUTED PRODUCTS
Entering into this agreement means, that both distributors will distribute a number of Owasys terminals, oriented to the M2M market, to the industrial and automotive sectors.
Products to be distributed under this agreement are products of the family owa2X; including a complete range of solutions for the M2M market.
The owa22A has been designed for automotive and fleet management sectors, and on the other hand, owa22I focuses more intensively on the industrial sector, remote control and scattered machinery monitoring (both with developing kit).
All products with hundreds of technological possibilities: Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wifi, etc.
This way, both terminals integrate GSM/GPRS communications and GPS location, providing an efficient transmission of information through the mobile telephone network. This family of products provides hardware for fast application development such as fleet management, on-board communication equipment, security and alarms, vending machines, etc.
