Owasys has consolidated its market position through distribution agreements in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

its family of wireless terminals, the owa2X Family, for M2M communications.

• Owasys plans to enter the American market at the end of this year

Bilbao, June 2003. Owasys Advanced Wireless Devices, with headquarters at the Technology Park of Biscaya, has reached collaboration agreements with German, Austrian and Swiss distributors to commercialize its new wireless terminals, which were launched two months ago.

The company expects now to close agreements in France, Italy, Israel, Belgium and Holland. Thanks to these agreements, Owasys will ensure European coverage for these products before their introduction in the American Market, schedule to take place by the end of the year.

Two months ago, the distribution of its products, the owa2X family, in Spain, Portugal, England and Ireland was secured. At that time, Owasys launched the owa2X Family for M2M communications family of terminals: the owa22A, for the automotive sector and the owa22I for the industrial sector.

Through these new products, Owasys has become one of the main manufacturers of M2M communications products, providing new solutions for the GSM market.
