OWASYS launches a new family of products for the M2M market focused on cost efficiency.

Until now the owa22X family products are being used in many Vertical Markets like Fleet Management, Utilities, government sector…, allowing our customers system integrators to reduce the time to market on their projects and to reduce the cost of development.
 
To expand our product range OWASYS is launching now the owa21X family of products. Based on the same concept of open platform, we believe that the market is more mature now for products focused on vertical applications. At this stage we are launching 2 new products: owa21A-TRACK and owa21I-Telemetry.

The owa21A-TRACK is focused on Track & Trace applications. Besides the standard LinuxOS, GSM/GPRS module, GPS receiver and TCP/IP stack, this product features ultra low power modes, enabling applications where autonomy of weeks or even months is required.

Furthermore, an integrated movement sensor, a wider set of event triggers, and a more compact size, make this product suitable to Anti-theft and simple Track & Trace applications.

The owa21I-Telemetry is focused on M2M applications like utilities, remote monitoring, etc. Besides the standard LinuxOS, GSM/GPRS module, and TCP/IP stack, this product features ultra low power modes, RS-485 serial port and a set of I/Os. As a result, this product is very suitable for those M2M applications that need a combination of intelligence and communications, in a very efficient way.
 
Thanks to the owa22X platform, with several thousands units on field, and the new owa21X platform, foreseeing a big potential market, Owasys seeks to contribute to enabling the exciting M2M Business.
