Owasys is developing new terminals for the automotive market as well as launching an innovative personal locator mobile phone. The new products will be available in September 2007.

Since 2002 until today, Owasys has launched a huge range of GPS products and GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth, Ethernet…wireless commmunications.

The new developments will give the integrators the possibility of answering emerging applications with new requirements in terms of shock, vibration, protection against dust and water protections. With the new products Owasys will fulfill additional needs in the automotive and industrial sectors.

Furthermore from the market Research data in mind, the tracking applications will be increasing in the following years, not also in the automotive sector but also in the security and localisation of people. With this new product combining GSM/GPRS/GPS, Owasys reinforces its strategy in the positioning/ localisation and consumer market.

Owasys will offer the new products through a consolidated international channel of operators, distributors and system integrators.
